Hopefully this means an official unveiling is coming soon, as a release date confirmation would likely accompany actual footage of the remasters in motion. So between Eurogamer’s sources, and multiple stores listing a date that doesn’t sound like a placeholder, I’m inclined to believe it.

Mass Effect as a series tends to launch around this time of year, with both Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect: Andromeda launching in March of 20 respectively. On top of this, Eurogamer’s own sources have described this date as “accurate,” and it would line up with the originally stated “spring 2021” release window. A couple retailers seem to have put the official Mass Effect: Legendary Edition release date on their store listings, with each saying the remastered collection of Bioware’s science fiction RPGs will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 12, 2021.Īmong these are Singapore retailer Shopittree and Indonesian store GSSSHOP, which independently list the compilation for March 12. Well it looks like we won’t need any more video games in 2021 after March.
